“A cavalry regiment of the British Army, and the senior Scottish regiment. The regiment, through the Royal Scots Greys, is the oldest surviving Cavalry Regiment of the Line in the British Army. With a history that goes back over 340 years, we are proud to be members of Scotland’s senior and only Cavalry Regiment.  We have been involved in almost every campaign the British Army has been in since 1700 and our battle honours include Waterloo, Balaklava and more recently the First Gulf War of 1991 and Iraq 2003.  Today’s soldiers have  much to live up to but are always determined to be Second To None.”
